SAPSASA Cross Country

07.06.17

A strong contingent of Tenison Woods College students took part in this year’s SAPSASA Cross Country at Oakbank in Adelaide on Thursday 1 June.

Congratulations to Jacob Salmon (Bronze), Hannah Elliot (Bronze), along with Jonty Collins (23rd), Tess Kenseley (27th), Angus Clarke (30th) and Alex Hudson (101st) who all performed so well! A fantastic effort by all!

10-year-old Jacob Salmon’s time of 7 minutes 37 seconds over 2000 metres would have seen him win in previous years, but his performance didn’t go unnoticed, as he has now qualified for the State team – with the National Championships in Tasmania in August.

Year 10 student Hannah Elliott placed 3rd in U15's with a time of 11 minutes and 8 seconds, and will also represent South Australia in Tasmania in her age group for the National Cross Country Championships.
