Tenison Woods College Chinese Educational Exchange

Two teacher and student delegations from the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China have arrived in Mount Gambier as part of a two-week exchange visit to learn about Western education at Tenison Woods College.

Seven students supported by teacher Yi (Charlie) Cao and a group of 21 teachers facilitated by Holly Zhi are in the South East to immerse themselves in the Western school environment.

Tenison Woods College Principal David Mezinec is pleased to welcome the delegation into the Tenison Woods College community.

“The students and teachers will enjoy a range of experiences including intensive English tuition, classroom observation, tours of the region and specific seminars on a range of topics which will help them appreciate some of exciting initiatives within the college community,” said Mr Mezinec.

“We wish our Chinese visitors all the best for their stay and look forward to the mutual learning and cultural understanding which will evolve over the next two weeks.”
