Ready, Think, Fire! You are not your ATAR.

10.05.17

Students in Years 10, 11 and 12 are invited to a one-day workshop at Tenison Woods College on Friday 9 June (Student Free Day).  This powerful one-day workshop, hosted by Nathan Hayes will look at the concepts of Sustained High Performance, Self-confidence and Self-esteem, Resilience through intrinsic motivation and positive psychology.

Students will gain valuable skills in the following areas:

  • Significant insight into individual styles of thinking that support and hinder performance and personal satisfaction.
  • What will success at school look like for you?  Why is it important to define this?
  • External accomplishments do not define you – you are not your ATAR!
  • Consider the benefits of enjoying the journey, not focusing on the outcome.
  • What can help you enjoy the journey?
  • Formulating a roadmap for your destination and the importance of planning.
  • What is resilience – really?  Failing Fast to Learn Quick.
  • Are you ‘stressed’ or simply working through life’s inevitable challenges?

This fantastic workshop will outline topics, asking questions such as:

  • Do you want to understand how you can become a consistent high performer?
  • Do you place unrealistic expectations on yourself in everything you do?
  • Do you feel so overwhelmed at times you don’t know where to begin?
  • Do you experience high levels of nerves and anxiety under times of pressure?
  • Do you find it hard to bounce back when things don’t work out as planned?

To register, please contact Nathan Hayes nathan@ltedu.com.au
