Thinking Tertiary? It's time to apply!

Applications for undergraduate university courses open in early August. Applications are made via the relevant State Tertiary Admission Centre (see the list below).

The purpose of each State’s Admission Centre is to:

  • Publish information about courses and application procedures
  • Process undergraduate, postgraduate and TAFE (where applicable) applications
  • Acknowledge each application by email
  • Assess applicant’s qualifications according to the rules set by the institutions
  • Rank eligible applicants for each course preference
  • Email offers to applicants selected by its member institutions
  • Answer queries about the status and outcome of applications
