Applications are open for a twelve month traineeship at the Quality Inn Presidential Motel, restaurant and conference facility, commencing immediately.  The Motel is looking for enthusiastic applicants who possess excellent customer service skills, computer skills, accuracy, initiative and the desire to learn and work in a team environment whilst gaining industry skills.

This entry level position is a full time salaried position.  The successful applicant will be required to undertake Certificate III in Hospitality.  The qualification and experience gained will open up a world of opportunity for the right candidate.  Other details include:

  • Minimum 38 hours per week, includes weekends. 2 days a week off but rostered days can be any day of the week.
  • Immediate commencement date – willing to be flexible around exams
  • Must be 18 years and have P plate

As part of the team, the trainee will undertake a wide variety of duties across all departments.  These will include: delivery of professional and friendly service to assist customers, assist in resolving customer enquiries by phone and face-to-face including, processing bookings using the business's Reservation Management System, undertake the receipting of payments, assisting visitors to the region with tourism enquiries, serving food and beverages in dining and conference areas, event planning and set up.

A high level of initiative will be required as well as the ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team.

Kimberly-Clark are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and adaptable person to complete a 12 month full-time Certificate 3 Traineeship at the Millicent Mill.  This role requires the ability to work in an autonomous manner, establishing credibility as the "go-to-person" resolving concerns, identifying solutions and facilitating communication across teams.
