The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden (SAKG) Program is available to Early Learning – Year 6 classes. Students have access to a variety of garden areas throughout the school and regularly engage in environmentally focused activities including recycling, weed identification and management of outdoor areas. There are pots and garden beds in the art room courtyard with a range of fragrant sensory plants, providing reflective space and an ongoing supply of fresh produce to use in kitchen garden lessons. Kitchen lessons allow students to explore new flavours, tastes and concepts as they build life skills by preparing and cooking meals from fresh natural foods in a team environment,

The program provides students the opportunity to cook with fresh, seasonal produce they have grown themselves.
