Year 7 Reflection Day

05.05.21

On Thursday 29 April Year 7 students from Tenison Woods College were joined by Year 7 students from Mary MacKillop School for a spiritual pilgrimage through local sites of Catholic and natural significance. The students visited St Paul’s Church, Mary MacKillop Stable School Park, Father Woods Sculpture Park and Yallum Park.

At each site the Stations of the Cross were used to focus on the importance of two of the school's founders, St Mary of the Cross and Father Tenison Woods, and also the importance of actively conserving God’s beautiful creation.

Throughout the day the students were encouraged to build positive relationships with each other, our God and all of creation. The pilgrimage was blessed with glorious weather which assisted staff and students to feel the divine presence of God during all activities. Special thanks to Andy and Annie Clifford for hosting both Tenison Woods College and Mary MacKillop School at Yallum Park.
