Exciting Partnership for the College

12.09.18

Tenison Woods College is embarking on an exciting partnership with Vestas Wind and Infigen Energy. Over the past 6 months, our three leading organisations have been working together on ways to highlight the importance of both renewable energy and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers within our wider community. This collaboration will be formalised on Monday the 17th of September, with Vestas tailoring presentations to each of the sub schools on a range of topics. Vestas are making a special effort, with Peter Cowling (Head of Vestas Australia and New Zealand) and Clay Douglas (Vestas Australia and New Zealand Service Director) flying in for the Senior School presentation followed by a 3.40-4.40 session which is open to members of the Limestone Coast community.

This after school session will explore the evolving partnership between Tenison, Vestas and Infigen; a first for an Australian school. It will involve a panel made up of Vestas Australia and New Zealand Heads, Infigen Energy representatives, as well as Tenison Woods College Deputy Principal and Sustainability Coordinator, followed by a Q+A session and a chance for audience members to experience the VR simulators.

All members of our collect community are encouraged to attend.

RSVP is highly recommended via https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/vestasinfigentenison-woods-partnership-tickets-49930043103
