Our 2017 Shining Light Recipients

2017 Shining Light Awards

19.10.17

Our 2017 Shining Light Awards took place on Saturday 14 October at City Hall in Mount Gambier. The evening was all about recognising former members of the College Community who have made incredible achievements throughout their lives.

This year, we celebrated the following recipients: Noel Bull - Former Tenison College student (1976), Maurice Corcoran (AM) - Former Tenison College student (1974), Pauline Kenny - Former St Paul's Primary School Principal (1997-2000), Natalie Medhurst - Former Tenison College student (1999) and Robert Peake - Former Marist Brothers Agricultural College (1960).

Guests at the event watched five inspirational films, enjoyed a beautiful three course meal and took home a commemorative wine glass. Each recipient was awarded a unique and stylish magnetic levitating light globe, which not only signifies their 'Shining Light' title, but is symbolic of all that the award stands for. To hear more about the event and to view the image gallery, see the Principal's article.

Congratulations again to this year's Shining Light Recipients.
