Shrove Tuesday

28.02.17

Tenison Woods College students are busy preparing pancakes today for Shrove Tuesday, celebrating the beginning of Lent.

Students made 90 litres of batter to ensure there will be enough pancakes to feed more than 1000 students. Pancakes will be sold for $1.00 each with all profits going to Caritas to kick start the Project Compassion appeal.

Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
