Mini Notes a Massive Success

15.09.17

On Wednesday 6 September, the 2017 Mini Notes Concert was held at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre. The concert showcased students from Reception to Year 2, as well as featuring students from the Early Learning and Community Centre, Year 6 Band, Storm Drum Corps, Music Connection, Year 8 Rock Band, Brass Ensemble, Soloists and the Junior Choir. The concert was a huge success, allowing students to gain valuable experience performing on stage to a full house. We are very proud of all the performers.

Thank you to all the teachers, parents, Friends of Music members and additional college staff who helped out backstage and in preparation for the night. A special thanks to our music teachers; Tameka Nube, Marie Holmes, Rebecca Hudson and Nathan Creedy for their hard work in preparing the students. Thank you also to our Music Captains; Chloe Perryman and Liam Fennell for giving their time and skills in compering the concert.

We hope the families and friends that attended the concert enjoyed watching the joy on the students’ faces throughout their performances.

We look forward to bringing another Mini Notes Concert to the College community in 2019!
