Recipe of the Week!

Each week we will be sharing with the community, a recipe from the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.

Students at the College grow a seasonal garden and cook various recipes, which are planned around what’s available.

This week, Year 4 students picked fresh beetroot from the graden and cooked Beetroot and Chocolate Muffins. Enjoy this scrumptious recipe!

Titans USA Basketball Tour

The group of 38 athletes and 9 ‘highly’ qualified coaches and staff left the mainland down-under on the 27 November 2017 on a direct route to the city of Angels, Los Angeles, California. Not every day you get to say that! This was a common occurrence over the course of the trip as students took quite a while to come to terms with the magnitude of the tour. Over the length of the tour we played approximately nine games, differing for each team, this gave us a great opportunity to really immerse ourselves in the school life and culture of young Americans...

2018 R-12 Parent Welcome and Information Evening

Parent Welcome and Information Evening – It’s About Building Relationships

A significant way in which parents can support the learning of their children and adolescents is by attending the R-12 Parent Information Evening on Monday 12 February. Parents will have a chance to meet our teachers, learn about the teachers’ hopes for the year, and hear about the classroom processes that will ensure learning is achieved in the best possible way.  Parents also have an opportunity to meet informally the Leadership Team of the school and ensure that we commence the journey of serving your child’s individual needs in a deliberate manner. Click here to see the attached Information Evening Schedule including letter which was sent out in Week 1.

We wish our Chinese visitors all the best for their return to Baotou and thank our families for their generous support.

Year 12 Art Selected for 2018 SACE Art Show

Congratulations to 2017 Year 12 student Victoria Circelli who’s artwork has been selected to showcase in Adelaide at the 2018 SACE Art Show.

The exhibition showcases the most innovative and interesting work for Year 12 Art and Design and Victoria’s piece, ‘Immigration’, was chosen to be part of this exclusive collection. The piece was inspired by her Nonno, Angelo Circelli, who migrated to Australia from Italy in 1961.

The exhibition will open on March 19 at the Light Square Gallery in Adelaide.

Well done Victoria!
