Reception Art Exhibition

Last Wednesday night, the Reception staff and students hosted the annual Reception Art Exhibition. This year’s theme ‘Images of Me’ gave the children the opportunity to experiment with different techniques and mediums to create a variety of self-portraits.

The Reception children devoted time throughout the term to creating their special pieces for display. With a focus on ‘me and my world’ they reflected on personal experience, qualities and characteristics and used these as inspiration for their art works. Students Prepare for Basketball Championships

I would like to congratulate Emily Dawe, Harry McInnes, Sarah Nulty and Oli Thomson on the selection in South Australia Country U16 basketball teams to compete in the Australian National Championships. The championships will take place from 6 - 13 July in the lovely Sunshine Coast. We wish the athletes the best of luck at the tournament and hope they enjoy the experience.

School Netball Achievements

Term 2 has seen nine of our young students participate in the school netball competition on Saturday mornings. I would like to congratulate the girls on a fantastic season, winning six out of six games and improving immensely throughout the season.
